Hi, I’m Kelly.
I’m an ACA registered counsellor with a Master of Counselling and postgraduate studies in Psychology, offering counselling in Roleystone, Fremantle, and online.
Before moving fully into private practice, I spent more than 20 years working in high-pressure environments, including FIFO and the mining industry, where I established and led an internal mental health service designed to provide real, accessible support to workers, leaders, and teams.
That experience shaped the way I work today.
I understand what it’s like to keep pushing through, carry pressure quietly, and feel responsible for everyone else while losing sight of yourself in the process. Many of the people I work with are highly capable on the outside, but underneath are navigating stress, burnout, anxiety, ADHD, relationship strain, grief, identity shifts, or simply feeling disconnected from who they used to be.
My approach is practical, grounded, and human. I’m not a “just sit there and nod” kind of counsellor, and I don’t believe therapy needs to feel cold, overly clinical, or intimidating. I aim to create a space where people feel comfortable showing up exactly as they are — without judgement, pressure, or needing to have everything figured out before they arrive.
I draw from approaches such as CBT, DBT, ACT, Schema Therapy, and trauma-informed practice, but the focus is always on the person sitting in front of me — not fitting people into a textbook.
Alongside counselling, I also offer:
Career development counselling Workplace and small business mental health support Equine-assisted therapy through Hills EAL in the Perth Hills
More than anything, I believe meaningful support starts with genuine human connection.
